MAKSTTON CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through the MAKSTTON international website.
MAKSTTON orders are primarily shipped from China. We will offer or select an appropriate shipping method according to the destination, product quantity, weight, customer selection, and actual logistics conditions. The checkout page, quotation, or order confirmation will control the final shipping arrangement.
2.1 Order Processing and Dispatch
In-Stock Products
In-stock products are normally dispatched within 3 business days after the order is confirmed. If order information requires further confirmation, inventory is unexpectedly unavailable, a public holiday occurs, or another circumstance affects normal dispatch, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
Custom-Made Products
Before production begins, the order data, Final Specification Confirmation Sheet, and final rendering must be confirmed. After the customer provides final confirmation and authorizes production, production is normally completed in approximately 25 calendar days. Special specifications, special finishes, or other special production requirements may require additional time.
Estimated total delivery time for custom-made products equals the production period plus international shipping time.
2.2 International Shipping Methods and Estimated Times
Depending on the destination and actual logistics conditions, we may offer international express delivery, air freight, a dedicated international shipping line, sea freight, or another method suitable for large wheel shipments. The following times are general estimates:
| Shipping Method | Estimated Transit Time | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| International express | Approx. 5-10 business days | Suitable for orders with higher time requirements |
| Air freight / dedicated international line | Approx. 7-15 business days | Transit time and tracking updates vary by route |
| Sea freight | Approx. 30-60 calendar days | Excludes abnormal delays in destination-port customs clearance or final delivery |
Transit time begins after the products have actually been handed to the carrier and dispatched. It does not include order-processing time or the production period for custom-made products. All shipping times are estimates and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date.
Customs inspections, customs clearance, changes to flight or sailing schedules, port congestion, extreme weather, public holidays, local logistics, and other circumstances outside MAKSTTON's reasonable control may affect actual transit time.
2.3 Shipping Charges
International shipping charges are calculated according to the destination, product quantity, weight, shipping method, and logistics conditions at the time of shipment. Applicable charges will be displayed or confirmed during checkout, in the order quotation, or in the order confirmation. Expedited shipping or other special logistics requests may create additional charges.
2.4 Duties, Taxes, and Customs Clearance
Import requirements vary by destination. If the quotation, checkout page, or order confirmation expressly states that duties and taxes are included, those costs will be handled in accordance with the confirmed shipping terms.
If the order does not expressly state that these costs are included, any import duties, value-added tax, other local taxes, customs-clearance charges, customs declaration or agency fees, and other import-related costs at the destination are the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The customer must provide the documents required by local customs or the carrier and cooperate in completing the import procedures. If return shipping, storage, or additional logistics costs arise because the customer refuses customs clearance, refuses to pay import charges for which the customer is responsible, cannot be contacted, or for another customer-related reason, the customer may be responsible for the actual costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2.5 Tracking and Split Shipments
After an order is dispatched, we will provide available tracking information if tracking is offered by the carrier. A set of wheels is normally shipped in several separate packages. One order may therefore have multiple tracking numbers, and the packages may not arrive on the same day.
If only some packages have arrived, check the shipping status separately under each tracking number. Sea freight, dedicated international lines, and some special shipping methods may update tracking only at particular transit points, so tracking information may be delayed.
2.6 Delivery Address
When placing an order, provide accurate and complete information suitable for receiving large products, including:
- Recipient name and telephone number.
- Country or region, city, postal code, and complete street address.
- Tax number, identification, or other documents required for local customs clearance.
- A valid address capable of receiving multiple large packages.
Some carriers cannot deliver to post-office boxes or other restricted addresses. After an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the address can be changed or that a shipment in transit can be intercepted. Re-delivery, address-correction, return-shipping, or other costs caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information, an unreachable recipient, failed delivery, or another customer-related reason may be charged to the customer to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2.7 Delivery and Inspection for Transit Damage
Wheels are high-value products. Inspect the external packaging and the condition of the products as soon as possible after delivery. Loss or damage occurring while the products are transported by a carrier arranged by MAKSTTON will be handled by MAKSTTON based on the shipping record, the carrier's investigation, and applicable law.
After delivery, check:
- Whether the number of packages, product models, and quantities are correct.
- Whether the product diameter, specifications, and color match the order.
- Whether the wheel surfaces show obvious transit damage.
- Whether the outer packaging or internal protective materials are broken, deformed, punctured, water-damaged, or otherwise abnormal.
If products are missing, incorrect, or appear to have been damaged in transit:
- Keep all external and internal packaging, logistics labels, and tracking numbers.
- Take clear photographs of every side of the external packaging and photographs or video of the affected products.
- Keep a complete unboxing video where possible.
- Do not mount tires, install the wheels on a vehicle, repair, or modify the affected products.
- Contact MAKSTTON as soon as possible.
Evidence and Claim Timing: To help us submit a timely claim to the carrier, we recommend contacting us within 48 hours after discovering a shipping problem and, where possible, completing the initial report within 7 days after delivery. These periods are recommendations for evidence preservation and carrier claims; they do not limit any mandatory rights available to consumers under local law.
2.8 Delay, Loss, or Other Delivery Problems
If an order has clearly exceeded the estimated transit time or has had no tracking update for an extended period, contact us. We will use the tracking information to assist with an inquiry to the carrier. A reasonable delay does not automatically mean that the shipment is lost, and it may be necessary to wait for the carrier's investigation before a resolution can be determined.
If loss in transit or another delivery problem not caused by the customer is confirmed, we will provide re-delivery, replacement, a refund, or another reasonable solution according to the circumstances and applicable law.
If tracking shows that a shipment has been delivered but the customer cannot locate it, promptly check the delivery address, property or building management, delivery area, and the carrier's delivery record, and then contact us so that we can assist in opening an investigation.
2.9 Refused Delivery and Delivery Failure
Unless the products show obvious transit damage or MAKSTTON has confirmed that delivery should be refused, do not refuse delivery as a substitute for a standard return or because of a change of mind. If products are returned because the customer refuses delivery for personal reasons, cannot complete customs clearance, supplied an incorrect address, or for another customer-related reason, original shipping charges, return-shipping charges, storage charges, duties, taxes, and other related costs may arise.
2.10 Local Consumer Rights
This Shipping Policy does not limit or exclude any mandatory rights available to consumers under the law applicable at the order destination. If this policy conflicts with a local rule that cannot legally be excluded, the local mandatory rule will prevail.
